The award-winning Aboriginal educator is the executive director of the Stronger Smarter Institute. He was the first Aboriginal principal of Cherbourg State School in Queensland, and is credited with transforming it from a vandalised institution with poor results to a place where there was enthusiasm for learning through dramatically improved school attendance and increased community involvement.
