Are legislative curbs needed on street prostitution?
With Annah Pickering - the Auckland co-ordinator for the NZ Prostitutes' Collective. John McCracken - The chair of the Otara-Papatoetoe Local Board. Len Brown - Auckland mayor. An Auckland Council-backed booklet released this week accuses prostitutes plying their trade on the streets of south Auckland of destroying public property, littering the area with condoms and using street poles for dancing. It's part of a wider campaign over proposed legislation that would restrict street prostitution that's backed by Auckland mayor Len Brown.
