What does the end of TVNZ7 mean for documentary making in NZ?

Dan Shanan and Alex Lee founded the Documentary NZ Trust in 2004 because they felt the industry needed to be nurtured and promoted - they're also the organisers of the Documentary Edge Festival (formerly DOCNZ festival). They say audiences are hungry for local stories.
