Chilean volcano that's prompted flight cancellations

The captain of a British Airways jumbo that flew into ash from an Indonesian volcano in 1982, causing all four engines to fail. He helped launch a new European satellite to track worldwide volcanic ash in 2002, and believes that airlines are overreacting to the Chilean volcano.
