Feature Guest - Anne Russon

From Nine To Noon, 10:06 am on 4 May 2011

Anne Russon is a psychology professor and an expert on orangutans. Some of her findings about the great ape have shed new light on theories about human evolution. For the last 23 years Anne's being going to Borneo for about five months a year, where her focus is on studying the learning and intelligence of orangutans. She's found that the apes have the ability to act, something previously thought to be an exclusively human communication tool.
