Feature Guest - Henry Worsley

From Nine To Noon, 10:10 am on 3 May 2011

In 1908 British explorer Ernest Shackleton and his team set out to reach the South Pole but had to turn back, defeated by cold and dwindling food supplies. One hundred years later Henry Worsley, a polar adventurer and descendant of one of Shackleton's original navigators, set out to retrace the explorer's footsteps. He was joined by two other adventurers, who were also relatives of members from that original team. Henry talked to Kathryn about the expedition.
