Mayor-elect of the Auckland super city Len Brown
After trouncing John Banks with a majority of just under 65,000 in the first super city elections, Mr Brown now has to figure out how to run the largest council in Australasia. He's already in discussions with the transition agency that has set up the council and says that the roles and responsibilities of the 21 local boards need to be clarified before the super city officially comes into force on November 1.
