Casino operator Sky City Entertainment is suing Fletcher Building for losses incurred because of delays in completing the nearby International Convention Centre in Auckland.
The company is alleging Fletcher's negligence and breaches of contract have resulted in the project being more than six years behind schedule.
The part completed building was badly damaged in a fire in 2019, which SkyCity says was the fault of Fletcher Building.
Sky City says it's entitled to damages of more than 330-million dollars.
