Media in the Trump years, BBC's impartiality rules

From Nine To Noon, 11:45 am on 3 November 2020

Media commentator Andrew Holden looks at what four years of Donald Trump has taught the media and whether he's managed to game the old-school journalists' commitment to covering "both sides" of the story and won more opportunity to spin his lies. Andrew will also look at the BBC's new impartiality measures and what it'll mean for BBC staff using social media in a personal capacity. Andrew Holden is a journalist for more than 30 years including five as Editor of The Press (in Christchurch) and four as Editor-in-Chief of The Age in Melbourne.
