From Nine To Noon, 10:10 am on 15 October 2020

Dr Melanie Fillios is an archaeologist who specialises in the study of animal remains to tell help tell the story of human civilisations.

For the last ten years she has studied Australia's native dog, the dingo, seeking to find out how and when they first arrived on the continent, and what their relationship with humans has been throughout history.

She tells Kathryn Ryan about how she is about to lead a study into several newly discovered dingoes that died thousands of years ago when they fell into deep caves.
