An open letter to Associate Education Minister Tracey Martin, with fourteen and a half thousand signatures, warns about the future of one of the oldest players in New Zealand's early childcare sector.

Playcentre General Manager Sean McKinley says Playcentre might not survive, unless it gets a bigger slice of the less than 1 percent of the Government's funding for the ECE sector.

He tells Kathryn Ryan the recent Budget allocation is insulting.
