Aucklanders are staring down the barrel of water restrictions as a severe drought continues to take its toll on the city's dams, which are sitting under the halfway point for the first time in 25 years. Watercare is asking Aucklanders to keep showers to 4 minutes or under, and to refrain from washing cars or water blasting properties.
