School principals' warning over "confusing" donation scheme

School principals say there is confusion and uncertainty around the government's donations scheme, which may lead to some trips and activities not going ahead.

Schools have a month to sign up to the scheme, where they'll receive 150 dollars per student in return for not asking parents for any donations for core curricular activities. So far, a third of the country's 1700 schools have opted in. Kathryn talks with PPTA Secondary Principals' Council chair James Morris and Michael Williams, Principal of Pakuranga College.
