23 years after beginning her career as a nurse, Josephine Gagan has just been inducted into the New Zealand Hall of Fame for Women Entrepreneurs.

She is the CEO of the New Zealand Health Group, the largest provider of home and community support services to those with disabilities and those needing support in their own homes. Before that, she was the Founder and Chief Executive of Geneva Healthcare, one of the largest national healthcare providers in the country.

Jo Gagan's mother and grandmother were nurses, and she says she was naturally drawn to be a carer, but also always wanted to be in business.
