From Nine To Noon, 11:51 am on 18 March 2019

Bill McKay was in Auckland's multi-cultural suburb of Sandringham when heard about the Christchurch killings. He reflects on how 20 years ago he''d have bought a pie from a dairy there, but now a stretch of Sandringham Road is a well patronised vibrant precinct of mostly Indian/Pakistani shops, restaurants, and spice warehouses. Bill McKay is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Architecture and Planning at the University of Auckland.
