With the discovery of three fruit flies in the Auckland area in just one week what's the current threat to our $5.5 billion horticulture industry?
A single male fly was found in a trap in Northcote yesterday and is the second Queensland fruit fly to be found in the past week. That's in addition to the discovery of a different type of fruit fly, native to Tonga found in Ōtara earlier this week.
