First up, what many consider the greatest horror soundtrack of all time – the music from the 1977 horror film Suspiria directed by Dario Argento.
Goblin – an Italian prog-rock band who did soundtracks for 13 of Argento's horror movies – played Suspiria live in New Zealand in 2013.
Suspiria is set in a German ballet school which turns out to be the front for a supernatural cult.
For the soundtrack to the 2018 remake, director Luca Guadagnino enlisted none other than Radiohead's Thom Yorke. Kirsten's favourite track from this year's soundtrack is 'Unmade':
Finally, the spooky song 'Tokoloshe' recently released by Wellington singer Estère and Ruwandan-born rapper Raiza Biza is perfect for Halloween.
