NZEI President Lynda Stuart discusses a new pay offer for primary teachers and principals with Kathryn Ryan.
It's the 2nd offer from the government in the long-running pay dispute. Last month almost 30,000 primary and intermediate school teachers and principals went on strike for the first time in 24 years, closing 1,479 schools.
The offer is a 3% pay increase each year for 3 years. Union members will vote on the offer next week.
