Gender Champions for Change

From Nine To Noon, 9:23 am on 28 March 2018

Elizabeth Broderick is the founder of the Male Champions for Change programme in Australia, which brings together male leaders to tackle workplace gender inequality. She set the programme up while she was serving as Australia's longest serving Sex Discrimination Commissioner and last year she was appointed by the UN Human Rights Council as its Special Rapporteur and Independent Expert on the issue of discrimination against women in law and practice. She talks to Kathryn about the challenges of bringing equality into the workforce in New Zealand and sustaining the #metoo movement.
