Mesh campaigners take fight to Australia

Charlotte Korte and Patricia Sullivan from the group, Mesh Down Under, which supports people with complications from the use of surgical mesh, will appear before an Australian Senate inquiry this afternoon. The women have been campaigning for five years, successfully petitioning the health select committee here to hold an inquiry, which resulted in a range of recommendations. They say none of the recommendations have been implemented, and after years seeking a meeting with the Health Minister Jonathan Coleman, they were granted just 15 minutes with him last month.
