Dame Diane Robertson has been at the helm of the Auckland City Mission for 17 years, but involved in the social services organisation for more than two decades.Dame Diane has witnessed a lot of change during the past two decades, poverty presenting itself in many different forms, and always a huge number of people needing help.This Christmas more than 3,000 emergency food parcels will be distributed and 10,000 gifts have been wrapped for families who would otherwise go without. The Auckland City Mission's annual Christmas lunch is legendary, with 2,000 guests expected tomorrow.
