The founder of Lanza tech, Sean Simpson on the company's huge gains in creating a low carbon aviation fuel using waste from the steel industry. This year the company has moved its headquarters from Auckland to Chicago and has signed a major deal with Virgin Atlantic and banking giant HSBC, to test its low carbon aviation fuel, made using waste from the steel industry. It is set to do the first demonstration flight next year which will be a major step towards commercialising its low carbon fuel.
