Will New Zealand join fight against Islamic State in Iraq?

From Nine To Noon, 9:08 am on 1 October 2014

Australia's consideration of its involvement in fighting Islamic State militants in Iraq, has raised questions about what New Zealand would do, should this country be approached by a US led coalition. Joining Kathryn Ryan to analyse the potential for New Zealand to be drawn into a conflict is Paul Sinclair, a Regional Security Fellow at Victoria University's Centre for Strategic Studies. He has worked as a Ministry of Defence policy officer, private secretary to the Defence Minister, and for 12 years as head of the Ministry of Defence's International Relations Branch.
