Nic Low author of 'Arms Race'

Ngai Tahu author Nic Low on writing short stories about the themes of our times, and leading a roving writers' festival 2,000kms across India, by train. Nic is an author and artist of Ngāi Tahu and European descent. Born in Christchurch, he now divides his time between Melbourne and a bush retreat near Castlemaine. He writes fiction, essays and criticism, and has just released his first collection of stories, Arms Race, published by Text. Nic is appearing at the Christchurch Readers and Writers Festival on Thursday 28th August at 8.20pm where he'll be talking about 'Book Wallah', and again on Saturday 30th August at 11am.
