Marty Duda's artist of the week - Sia

From Nine To Noon, 11:07 am on 9 July 2014

Australian artist Sia Furler started making noise at the beginning of the millennium, not down under, but in the UK with her post-trip hop single Taken For Granted and her contributions to the chilled sounds of downbeat duo Zero 7. Since then Sia has been on an incredible roller coaster of a ride with her own career…producing several indie-pop albums in the mid-2000s, then writing hits for the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, Eminem and Christina Aguilera. Her own musical output has reflected her collaboration with mainstream pop stars. And although she is a reluctant performer (having recently published her "Anti-Fame Manifesto") the latest video, Chandelier, from her new album, 1000 Forms Of Fear, has over 50 Million views.
