Mike Webber, retired Whanganui optometrist who has been leading volunteer eye care efforts in the Pacific since the 1960s, and more recently has been working in Cambodia. He was awarded the MNZM in 2007 for services to optometry and the community, and has just been made an Honorary Fellow of the Universal College of Learning (UCOL).
