09:05 Cambodian Khmer Rouge Tribunal
More than 30 years after his brother was captured and murdered by the Khmer Rouge, Rob Hamill is heading to Cambodia to eyeball the man who ran the torture centre. The Olympic and transatlantic rower was only 14 when his older brother Kerry's yacht strayed into Cambodian waters. Kerry was captured and abused at one of Pol Pot's notorious torture centres, run by Kaing Guek Eav- known as Doich.
Rob Hamill says he will travel to Cambodia to seek answers from the Khmer Rouge leader - including where his brothers remains are.
09:20 Auckland Super City
One of The Royal Commission on Auckland Governance report's authors, Dame Margaret Bazley, knows this area well as a former head of the Social Welfare Department. The report was released exactly a week ago.
It calls for abolition of all seven city and district councils and the regional council, and the creation of one single Auckland Council.
Under it, community councils would implement decisions but not have decision making powers.
But the commissioners go further, and call for unprecendented co-operation between central government and the new local council, and a key but low profile issue raised in their report is Auckland's social issues and services.
