Boby Womacks career spans from his days singing gospel with his brothers in the 1950s, then under the guidence of Sam Cooke with the valentinos; writing and recording with Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Janis Joplin and Sly & The Family Stone through to his recent work with Gorillaz. Marty Duda spoke with ahead of his debut New Zealand perfromance.
