Kids of 88's candy-coated synth-pop debut Sugarpills won the duo of Jordan Arts and Sam McCarthy an army of mainstream supporters both here and abroad, plus the backing of high-profile advocates like celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and US popette Ke$ha. When the sugar-high of Sugarpills started to drop off, Jordan and Sam retreated to Sam's Mt Eden home studio in the search of new earworm hooks and bpm counts. Sam Wicks met up with the Kids for an update on their sound.
