Deceptikonz

From humble high school beginnings to building a back catalogue 10 albums deep and evolving the late Phil Fuemana's dream of a worldwide urban pacifica movement with its roots in South Auckland, the Deceptikonz crew have gone from being the young bloods of Aotearoa hip hop to scene leaders. In September 2010 they released Evolution, their third - and what they claim will be their final - album as a group. Sam Wicks got three DKONZ in studio - and one on the line from the Gold Coast.
