Auckland pianist Mark de Clive-Lowe has been making music in LA for the past three years, following on from a fruitful stint producing and performing his own brand of jazz and soul inflected rhythms in clubs and studios around London and Europe. His latest album Renegades finds de Clive-Lowe working with session legends like Prince percussionist Sheila E, and bass player Pino Pallidino. Music Mix host Nick Atkinson caught up with Mark as he breezed through New Zealand for some live shows during June 2012.
