Auckland post punks Street Chant released their debut album - 'Means' in August 2010. A reference to their earlier incarnation Mean Street, the album is full of infectious hooks and pithy insights which the group seem to have crafted with the utmost care. Emma Smith had a chat with drummer Alex Brown and guitarist vocalist Emily Littler.
