Live Brazil - a celebration of Brazilian Dance, Music and Cuisine took place in Wellington during October 2009. Headline act Tambolele met each other performing music and clowning in the streets of Belo Horizonte, in the Brazilian State of Minas Gerais fifteen years ago. Their music, deeply rooted in their african heritage, has seen them play around the world, and inspire new generations of musicians in their area. Sergio Perere, Geovane Sassa, Santonne Lobato and Aloisio Horta - Tambolele - went in the studio with Emma Smith and translator and Live Brazil organizer Clo Mudrik.
