Sam Hamilton is one of the main instigators of Auckland's improvised music scene, with his practice intersecting the worlds of music, film and visual arts. At just 25, his past musical lives include being a classical cellist and singer-songwriter before ending up in electronica land. Julie Hill caught up with him to discuss his second long player, 'Pala'.
