Jessie James and The Outlaws' debut album is 'The Price Of Gum'. The title is a reference to the hidden costs of the things we consume. Political messages abound in the songwriting of Jessie Moss perhaps unsurprisingly, given her family's involvement in social change. Feminist and socialist Elsie Locke was her grandmother. Music 101 presenter Kirsten Johnstone joined Jessie and 6 month old Kaahuia on their lawn in Wellington's Lyall Bay.
