Few musicians in contemporary music have done more to blow up boundaries between styles of music than virtuoso banjo player Bela Fleck. Fleck crosses between jazz, bluegrass and classical music with ease and has a discography that is rivalled only by the number of grammy nominations he has received… at the last count it was 11 Grammys won, and 27 nominations. Trevor Reekie caught up with Bela Fleck in the middle of his 19-city tour of North American concert halls.
