Doom

The twisted, free rhyme associations of DOOM - the masked rapper formally known as Zev Love X and MF DOOM - have been heard in hip hop music for over 20 years. DOOM remains an underground favourite best known for rapping and producing under multiple aliases, and often draws on the world of comic books. Home Brew's Tom Scott counts DOOM as one of his all-time favourites, so we asked Tom to pick his hero's brains ahead of DOOM's shows in Wellington and Auckland.
