Jay Roacher

MC Jay Roacher is the current New Zealand Battle For Supremacy champion and has held the crown in the Christchurch MC battle scene for three years running. He has represented New Zealand twice in the Aussie vs NZ competition, and gained a semi-final placement in 2005. He's just released his self-titled debut on his own label, grymeworks. It's an album that paints a picture of the tough knocks this 25 year old has dealt with. Music reporter Jody Lloyd speaks to Jay Roacher.
