The Have

The Have are a band originally from Wanganui, who won Rockquest back in 2003 when they were all 16. Now, at 21, the boys are veterans of the music industry, having performed all over the world and at SXSW in Texas twice. It was one of these appearances that lead them to Barrett Jones - an American producer who's worked with Foo Fighters and Nirvana among others. The Music Mix's Richard Wain spoke with Have guitarist Peter Mangan and drummer Mike Tweed.
