Aucklander Luke Winny, aka Luke-W, is a producer, singer and rapper with influences ranging from rock and hip-hop, to R&B. ‘Law of Attraction’ is the fourth single from his upcoming album Timing Is Everything.
Luke released his first EP Under the alias 'Citizon' in 2017, while living in Bristol in the UK. After moving back to NZ in 2018, he signed to Move The Crowd records who helped him re-work, re-mix and re-master his existing material for a second EP Progress, released in 2019.
This year Luke has released three singles from his upcoming long player Timing Is Everything ‘True Cause’ and 'Staying Up' featuring frequent collaborator and producer Andrew Meyer, and ‘Breathe’ featuring NZ Hip-Hop icon Sid Diamond of SMASHPROOF.
The record’s fourth single ‘Law of Attraction’ features Auckland rapper bKidd, aka Ravi Kumar who released his debut EP last year.
“This track is my interpretation of the laws of attraction,” Luke says, “It’s about how you manifest yourself, by the way you think and act, into the person that you eventually become, and all the factors that impact how that plays out.”
Timing Is Everything is due out later this year.
