RNZ Music is proud to present ‘What Have You Done?’ from soul/R&B newcomer Hawkins. He's an accomplished singer who's worked with the likes of Stan Walker, Sola Rosa and J. Williams, and is finally releasing his own record.
Classically trained in voice, piano, harp, and violin, multi-talented Hawkins has been working as a professional back up vocalist since age 17.
‘What Have You Done?’ is Hawkins' second live video release after 'Lost Ones' which dropped earlier this month. Filmed at Roundhead studios, the songs allow a sneak peek of what is still to come from Hawkins on his debut album due February 2021.
"Growing up, music was everywhere. Everybody in my family either sang, played, and/or appreciated music; so I was surrounded by it, loved it, and wanted to know all about it. The stories got me; the way we have memories attached to certain songs, I wanted to be a part of that: All of that." Hawkins says.
