RNZ Music is proud to present the debut single and video from Auckland's Kenny Sterling. ‘Seismic Commotion’ is the first single from his forthcoming debut album Symphony Of Streetlights.
Kenny Sterling is the alias of filmmaker, creative, musician and crooner Matt Hunter. Tāmaki Makaurau-based Kenny makes songs about love and heartbreak, “contextualised by the state of the world we live in”.
‘Seismic Commotion’ reflects on “the greed of the world and the environmental destruction that follows it”. It’s Kenny debut single and the first from his album Symphony of Streetlights, which is out on September 17.
The video is set in 2060 with Kenny in a post apocalyptic world, caught by an ‘Authoritarian’ at one of the last remaining eco sanctuaries that opt out of the state-sanctioned oxygen and illegally produces its own.
