‘That’s Team’ follows the release of singles ‘Keke Boy’ and ‘CT&T’, and exemplifies the NZ hip hop community’s collaborative approach to making music.

The song’s beat is supplied by SWIDT’s Smokey Got Beats, there’s a verse from AP – aka Albert Purcell of Church & AP, and Diggy’s mentor Rizván oversaw the track’s production.

“We were taught at a young age to move as a unit and to help each other out, that’s team, that’s family. I’m blessed to have good people around me such as Rizván, my manager Jerome and my DJ Garethxmf,” Diggy says.

“We all have our strengths as individuals so there’s no denying one's personal greatness but when we link up it's like on some Voltron shit.”

‘That’s Team’ is out tomorrow on streaming services via DRM. Diggy Dupé’s first full length album That's Me, That's Team will be released on Friday 28 August.

Diggy is set to play Auckland’s Others Way festival on 11 September.
