More than 20 of New Zealand’s most well-known musicians have collaborated to create lockdown waiata 'Sway', which has one simple goal, encouraging New Zealanders to stay home and save lives.
Composed by Anna Coddington, Rob Ruha, Scott Tindale, and L.A.B.’s Brad Kora, Ara Adams-Tamatea and Joel Shadbolt, the track and video were created online in just seven days.
‘Stay’ features a wide range of vocalists including, Anna Coddington, Bailey Wiley, Hollie Smith, Ria Hall, Theia, Fran Kora (Kora), Jackson Owens, Joel Shadbolt (L.A.B), Kings, Logan Bell (Katchafire), Pere Wihongi (Maimoa), Rei, Rob Ruha, Stan Walker, Tiki Taane, and Troy Kingi.
All proceeds from ‘Stay’ will be donated to Music Helps, a Kiwi charity that supports members of the music industry in need.
The track will be released on all streaming services on Wednesday April 15.
