RNZ Music is proud to present the new vid from Auckland Americana trio Albi & the Wolves. ‘This Is War’ is the title track from the group’s latest album.
Albi & the Wolves have been making music together since 2014.
The group includes Chris ‘Albi’ Dent (guitar, vocals), Pascal Roggen (violin, vocals), and Micheal Young (double bass, vocals).
They’ve got two albums under their belt, have toured NZ extensively, and are set to play WOMAD in March.
Their video for ‘This is War’ was created by the team from Nelson venue RoomTWENTY5.
“The initial idea was small but Jonathan, Sharee, and Geoff's imaginations took flight,” Albie and the Wolves frontman Christ Dent says, “It was an exhausting day of shooting but we are proud of the result.”
The video is the first from Room TWENTY5, a private house concert venue in Nelson, which has hosted James Reid, Jason Kerrison, Greg Johnson, and more.
