Rodrigo and Gabriela are two Mexican heavy metal guitarists who turned acoustic and relocated to Ireland where they virtually stopped traffic busking on the streets of Dublin.
They've gone on to play on the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack and at the White House (at the invitation of President Obama).
Rodrigo and Gabriela spoke to RNZ's Trevor Reekie backstage at this year's Womad festival.
