It would take too long to name all the greats who have worked with Steve Bruner aka Thundercat over the years - but they include his old band Suicidal Tendencies, Snoop Dogg, Sun Ra, Erykah Badu, Kamasi Washington, our very own Kimbra, and currently - the great Herbie Hancock.
It’s no wonder, then, that when Melody Thomas asked New Zealand musicians if they had any questions for the artist, there was no shortage of volunteers to Thundercat.
