From RNZ Music, 2:18 pm on 5 September 2015

The Auckland music community is in mourning, following the sudden death of Graham Brazier, he was 63. Best known as the frontman of Hello Sailor, who were reforming for a 40th anniversary reunion tour earlier this year which was put on hold after Graham suffered a heart attack in August. A benefit show for Graham was to be held in Auckland in two weeks’ time. Graham also recorded as a solo artist, ran a second- hand bookshop in Mt Eden, and, legend has it, was asked to replace Jim Morrison in The Doors.
Sharing his memories of Graham is Murray Cammick - former editor of Rip it Up magazine, and Wildside Records head honcho - who released Graham’s third solo album, East of Eden.
