M’Lady’s Records is run by ex-pat Kiwi Fiona Campbell and her partner in life and business Brett Lyman.
As well as label-heads, both Lyman and Campbell are practicing musicians - Campbell, who was once the drummer for Auckland band The Coolies and Brooklyn-based Vivan Girls, currently drums with Ian Svenonius’ Chain & The Gang and her own melodic duo Coasting.
During a recent trip to Portland, Melody Thomas dropped into M’lady’s HQ for a catchup with Fiona.
