Drax Project are a new Wellington party band made up of jazz students from the NZ School of Music and Whitirea Polytechnic. They’ve built a loyal - and large - audience in the two years they’ve been playing together, taking out the audience voted NZ On Air Wildcard grant for June.
Last weekend they sold out their EP release gig, and return for an encore gig tonight. Kirsten Johnstone met Drax Project to find out more.
